Thanks to your support, SMART Wood Work has grown into a small team who aims to support Canadian and American businesses by purchasing raw materials made in Canada and the USA. 

 

Product Transparency:

We use premium Canadian White Oak.

Our clear varnish is made in the USA.

Stains are water-based, non-toxic, and manufactured in Quebec.

FDA approved food grade wood glue is produced in Saskatchewan.

 

For non-North American products:

Specialty (matte) varnishes or waxes are made in Germany.

For hinges, and drawer sliders we use BLUM technology. Blum products are made in Austria. They are #1 in the world for quality.

Our knobs come from a Canadian supplier, who imports their products from all over the world. The knobs we use are made either in Taiwan, Spain, or Italy.
